New Year… New You?

No big surprise here… 2020 blew. I started this blog in February of 2020 and, shall we say, the rest was history – COVID history.

I allowed the global pandemic to ruin my goals of maintaining this very blog. Foolish. When I had the “time” to contribute, I failed. Instead, I allowed my frustration of the events to overtake my ambition to write.

The New Year brings out the resolutions in all of us… Can I honestly say that I’ll be better this year? Time will tell…

Today, I read Mitch Albom’s The Timekeeper, and I can honestly say that this book couldn’t be more perfect for this very day.

So many of us wish the days would pass faster or that we had more time… what about the time that we do have? What about this moment?

It’s easier said than done, but we can be better. We can be better about appreciating ourselves and our precious moments.

If you have gained anything from this year, I hope it’s an appreciation of the people and experiences you have in every moment you live and breathe.

Take care and Happy New Year!
